Welcome to the 2016 edition of Reach and the first of our online editions. A lot has happened since our last edition of Reach, with the storms and flooding over Christmas and New Year, numerous budgetary reforms, the move of responsibility for Fire & Rescue Service policy to the Home Office, and notable exercises such as Unified Response all making the front pages in the UK and abroad.

Airwave has also been in the news recently becoming a Motorola Solutions company in February. Airwave and Motorola Solutions are combining expertise to release exciting, innovative and world leading critical communication solutions now and into the future.

We look forward to sharing more stories from our users around the country over the coming months, so please check back regularly for news. In the meantime, welcome to Issue 9!
