Design

We can design a solution for any number of public safety organisations – from a single group, to a full multi-user network; based on each customer's operational needs in terms of numbers of users, coverage, talkgroups, data applications and, where appropriate, the wider interoperability imperative.

Build

We can build a public safety network of any size, anywhere in the world. We delivered the Airwave network for the UK Government on time and on budget. It provides radio coverage to 99% of Great Britain’s land mass, including all major and minor roads, low-lying forested areas, mountainous uplands and remote coastal regions.

Operate

Our credentials as a public safety network operator are proven and unequalled. We already operate the Airwave network in Great Britain, which we continuously monitor and manage to ensure that we meet stringent Service Level Agreements in relations to availability and capacity.

We are able to build on our British learning experience and apply this to other customers' business models. We are prepared to discuss risk-sharing with prospective customer organizations and to participate in operating joint ventures.

Finance

Airwave is backed by the resources of the Macquarie group. We are prepared to consider investment in a variety of commercial models, and will be happy to discuss these in more detail.

Consultancy

We offer consultancy services on every conceivable aspect of public safety networking, including change management, with special emphasis on the migration from an analogue to a digital radio service; fleetmapping; the installation of new networking equipment in control rooms and its integration with legacy systems; and customer support (e.g. Helpdesk setup and radio training; radio programming, distribution to users and maintenance).

Applications

We can supply specially designed Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) to provide emergency connectivity in places not covered by a radio network (e.g. in underground railway tunnels). We can also supply user equipment (e.g. handheld radios, Data Tablets and Mobile Data Terminals) and a growing portfolio of data applications (e.g. mobilising messaging, status messaging, automatic vehicle location and patient telemetry).
