Introduction

Control Room Services are essential for the efficient and cost-effective running of control room communications.  They enable operators and field staff to speak to each other, either individually or as members of a talk group.

They can be used to dispatch resources to the scene of an incident, via a voice call, dispatching console or the Airwave equivalent of a text message. They can be used to send status updates from the scene of an incident, again via a voice call or a text message.

Airwave Control Room Services additionally allow customers to place orders, report faults electronically and download management reports that can be used to analyse usage of Airwave services in a number of useful and time-saving ways.

Other options include the real-time recording of multiple talk group conversations for evidence gathering, training and audit purposes and Integrated Communications Control Systems (ICCS) for a single view of all communications resources at the dispatchers command.

Who can use them?

Airwave Control Room Services can be used by any public safety customer who uses the Airwave network.

What about integration?

With the help of Airwave’s proven expertise, Airwave Control Room Services can be integrated with legacy systems in an efficient and reliable manner.
