Radio Dispatcher Terminals, ICCS and SMT
Radio Dispatcher Terminals
Radio Dispatcher Terminals connect the dispatcher to the Airwave network via an intuitive, Windows-style Graphical User Interface.
Two types of terminal are available – Standard and Enhanced:
- Standard functionality includes priority transmission and multiple talk group monitoring, receipt of emergency alarms and calls, receipt of status messages, broadcast calls, along with call and alarm log and trunking system status
- Enhanced functionality includes all the ‘standard’ features, plus Dynamic Group Number Assignment, the ability to disable a radio remotely, remote radio interrogation to check status and an emergency alarm log on monitored talk groups.
Note: Third party terminals can be utilised (e.g. Integrated Communications Control System), as long as they have been tested and proven over Airwave’s test-bed prior to deployment.
Integrated Communications Control Systems
Integrated Communications Control Systems (ICCS) integrate a variety of communications methods in a control room (e.g. PSTN, PBX and Airwave) into a single control panel to enable the dispatcher to easily manage their workload.
Airwave Solutions currently supply ICCS services to all Ambulance Services in Great Britain.
Service Management Terminal
Service Management Terminal (SMT) offers a wide range of functionality.
This includes convenient, secure online ordering, fault reporting and tracking, service monitoring / configuration, performance management, traffic monitoring, network performance and call statistics (including the top users by duration or number of calls).
