Introduction

Members of the Alliance Programme will receive assistance in designing, developing and marketing their solutions to Airwave customers. We might be an exclusive channel to market, or one of many channels to market. Either way, Airwave will retain a direct contractual arrangement with the Airwave end customer.

Application software developers, hardware developers or manufacturers, specialised implementation and solutions companies.

Customer Benefits

• Benefit from the increased awareness of products / services that are available for use over the Airwave network, through supplier/customer workshops, demonstrations and / or exhibitions
• Benefit from knowing that Airwave has conformance tested the supplier’s products / services for use on the Airwave network
• Benefit from being able to purchase the product / service directly from Airwave, thus allowing for a single point of provision and service support
• Obtain the most complete set of combined communication and applications products and services available on the market.

Process

• A potential Alliance Partner may initiate a request to enrol, or may be invited to enrol in this programme.
• The potential Alliance Partner will be required to complete an Alliance Profile Form.
• The Alliance Profile form will then be reviewed to evaluate whether the proposed product or service aligns with Airwave’s market strategy. This process will consist of two-stages. The Airwave Alliance Manager will conduct the first stage.
• The second stage will be a more detailed evaluation involving liaison with the product, proposition and marketing teams within Airwave.
• The evaluation period may be conducted over a number of months to ensure that the product or service fits with Airwave’s understanding of the market and customer requirements. It may also include a review of the market for that particular product or service to ensure that the most appropriate alliance is formed.
• Once these two-stages have been passed, commercial discussions will commence with the potential Alliance Partner, prior to a contractual agreement being signed.
• Alliance Partners will receive access to a password protected section of the Alliance Programme website, from where they can access relevant information to help them develop products and services that are optimised for the Airwave network
• When appropriate, the Alliance Partner will submit their product for conformance testing by Airwave.
• Upon successful conformance testing the Alliance Partner’s product details will be included on the Alliance Directory.
• At a pre-arranged time the Alliance Partner will be asked to present at a workshop to the entire  Airwave Sales Force.  Airwave will provide co-branded literature
