Strategic Alliances Programme

 

Members will have a close, long-term commercial relationship with Airwave aimed at delivering strategically important solutions over the Airwave network. Membership is limited to selected, leading companies

Leading providers of strategically important products and services to the Public Safety market

 

Benefits to Strategic Alliance Partners

  • Gain a good understanding of Airwave customers’ needs through attendance of workshops / seminars / events
  • Gain new customers and generate additional revenue through sales from Airwave
  • Gain visibility through the Alliance Directory featuring developers of products conformance tested for use on the Airwave network. (Information will be available to customers on the Alliance Programme website)
  • Benefit from Airwave joint product development, marketing and sales initiatives, where appropriate
  • Benefit from project management support from Airwave, where required
  • Enable the Alliance Programme member to be seen as a strategically important company within the Public Safety marketplace
  • Benefit from strategic alignment with a market leader in communication services to the Public Safety marketplace

  • Benefit from the delivery of new products and services that may be unavailable on the commercial market
  • Benefit from increased awareness of products / services that are available for use over the Airwave network, through supplier/customer workshops, demonstrations and / or exhibitions
  • Benefit from knowing that Airwave has conformance tested the partner’s products / services for use on the Airwave network
  • Benefit from being able to purchase the product / service directly from  Airwave, thus allowing for a single point of provision and service support
  • Benefit from the most complete set of combined communication and applications expertise available on the market.

Process

  • Airwave will engage with the company about joining the Strategic Alliances programme
  • This may involve the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
  • A joint information exchange session / workshop will be held; the outcome of which will be the identification of the possible areas for collaboration
  • Should detailed investigation of these areas result in the possible development of a product or service, Airwave’s proposition development process will be followed to bring this product / service to market
  • A strategic alliance agreement will be drawn up that will reflect the nature of the alliance.
