Alliances Affiliates Programme
Members will work together to deliver solutions that can run over the Airwave network under a standard revenue sharing agreement, the Affiliate in each case having a direct contractual arrangement with the Airwave end customer.

Application software, hardware developers or manufacturers and solutions companies.
Benefits to Alliance Affiliate
- Gain access to information held on the Alliance Programme members section of the website
- Gain a clear understanding of how to get their product conformance tested
- Gain visibility through the Alliance Directory featuring developers of products conformance tested for use on the Airwave network. This will be available to customers and others on the Airwave Alliance Programme website

- Enable Airwave to gain an understanding of new technology trends and innovations
- Enable Airwave to get detailed understanding of products available in the market as well the capabilities of developers.
- Enable more applications to be available for the Airwave network
Customer Benefits
- Benefit from the increased awareness of products / services that are available for use over the Airwave network, through supplier/customer workshops, demonstrations and / or exhibitions
- Benefit from knowing that Airwave has conformance tested the supplier’s products / services for use on the Airwave network
- Benefit from being able to purchase the product / service directly from the supplier, should they so desire
Process
- A potential Alliance Affiliate should be referred to the Alliance Programme website or given the Alliance Programme Guide
- The Alliance Affiliate will then be required to complete an Alliance Profile Form
- The Alliance Profile form will then be reviewed to evaluate the appropriateness of the product or service with Airwave’s market strategy. This will be a two-stage process. The Airwave Alliance Manager will conduct the first stage.
- The second stage will be a more detailed evaluation involving liaison with the product, proposition and marketing teams within Airwave.
- The evaluation period may be conducted over a number of months to ensure that the product or service fits with Airwave’s understanding of the market and customer requirements. It may also include a review of the market for that particular product or service to ensure that the most appropriate alliance is formed.
- Once these two-stages have been passed, commercial discussions will commence with the potential Alliance Affiliate, prior to a contractual agreement being signed.
- The Alliance Affiliate will be given access to the Alliance Programme members section website to access the relevant documentation. The Alliance Affiliate will also have access to information about the Airwave Product Conformance testing process.
- When appropriate, the Alliance Affiliate will submit their product for conformance testing by Airwave. The cost of this will be borne by the Alliance Affiliate
- Upon successful conformance testing the Alliance Affiliate’s product details will be included on the Airwave Alliances Directory.
- At a pre-arranged time the Alliance Affiliate will be asked to present at a workshop to the entire Airwave Sales Force and provide some literature
