Airwave Alliance Programme
To ensure that specialist programmes are catered for, as well as to allow for different types of commercial relationships to co-exist, the Airwave Alliance Programme is based upon different Alliance sub-programmes.
Programme Descriptions:
Stategic Alliances Programme
Members will have a close, long-term commercial relationship with Airwave aimed at delivering strategically important solutions over the Airwave network. Membership is limited to selected, leading companies.
Alliance Partners Programme
Members will receive assistance in designing, developing and marketing their solutions to Airwave customers. We might be an exclusive channel to market, or one of many channels to market. Either way, Airwave will retain a direct contractual arrangement with the Airwave end customer.
Alliance Affilates Programme
Members will work together to deliver solutions that can run over the Airwave network under a standard revenue sharing agreement, the Affiliate in each case having a direct contractual arrangement with the Airwave end customer.
Terminal Awareness Programme
The Terminal Awareness Programme is designed to provide Airwave and our customers with knowledge of the level of testing that has been undertaken by the Terminal Manufacturers.
We will make this information available directly to our customers via the Alliance Programme section of the Airwave website. No contractual arrangement exists between Airwave and any terminal manufacturer.
TOPS Forum
Members will receive information from Airwave, PITO and Motorola that will assist them in developing terminals, products and/or services that are intended to operate seamlessly over the Airwave network. No contractual arrangement exists between Airwave and the TOPS Forum member.
Alliance Programme Benefits
All Alliance Programme members will receive:

- General information on the Airwave network from Airwave, NPIA and Motorola
- Detailed information on the Airwave’s voice and data services
- Detailed information on TETRA terminals
- Detailed process guides relating to the testing of terminals and data services for use on the Airwave network
Alliance Programme members who have a contractual arrangement with Airwave will be able to take advantage of:
- More specific technical documentation on how to optimise and develop applications for use on the Airwave network. Additional detailed documentation will be made available as necessary*
- Assistance from the Airwave Sales Force*
- Airwave branded literature promoting solutions*
- Co-marketing opportunities*
- Invitations to relevant Airwave workshops, seminars and other events*
